The objective of my thesis was to analyze and study in-depth the world of design in all its nuances, looking for the optimal market opportunity to apply and exploit a ceramic 3D printing technology used almost exclusively in engineering and called Digital Light Processing. The final choice fell on the luxury wristwatch market which emerged, among all others, as the best market spot where to exploit and enhance the possibilities offered by both material and technology. Finally, the geometric freedom offered by the technology allowed to design a completely new and innovative formal solution.
