Romina Santi

Romina Santi is a researcher at the Polytechnic University of Milan, specializing in materials for design, with a strong focus on sustainability and the circular economy.
With a degree in Industrial Product Design and Design Engineering and a PhD in Design, she has developed expertise in the selection and development of sustainable materials, focusing on the impact of materials on consumer behavior.
Currently, at the Department of Chemistry, Materials, and Chemical Engineering, she participates in innovative projects such as R3Pack (Horizon Europe), REMODEL (PRIN PNRR), Boomerang (PRIN), and Bioloop (Polisocial), focusing on sustainability and innovation in the field of materials. With the MakingMaterials group, she is committed to developing a holistic approach to sustainability, systemically integrating materials and products.
