An exploration of Colour Material and Finish Design discipline with a core implication on the reproduction of a limited set of aesthetic finishes (sandblasting, brushing, perlage effect). The experimental reproduction to be achieved exploits a combination of laser marking and electroplating technologies applied on Nickel Silver components. The industrial field of application addressed is that of luxury eyewear. Consequent new chances of application represent the aim of this pursuit. These consist in being able to treat defined and limited surface portions on small areas preserving others, without any need for complex masking systems or additional passages.
